Should you buy the iPhone 4S or wait for the iPhone 5

As the hype surrounding the release of Apple’s new iPhone 5 subsided , Tim Cook, the new CEO, left an international audience surprised with the announcement of the the iPhone 4S vs the iPhone 5 as everybody was expecting. The new iPhone 4S is an internally remodelled edition of the iPhone 4.

With Facebook status’s, blog and twitter accounts bouncing the disappointing news between various social mediums, the question that has a worldwide audience in debate is ‘Should we buy the iPhone 4S or wait for the anticipated iPhone 5?’

The iPhone 4S boasts an array of significant upgrades, namely an improved 8-megapixel camera, faster processer, A5 dual-core graphics and faster downloading speeds. It features Apple’s new iOS 5 operating system and a special inclusion of the iPhone 5’s “Siri”: new voice activation and artificial intelligence technology that responds to questions and recalls conversations. The  International Apple-ites have held back on purchasing the new iPhone 4S, fabricating an unforseen 2% drop in Apple stock

The iPhone 4S looks exactly like the iPhone 4. With a growing expectation of thinner, sleeker, lighter Apple devices annually, iPhone groupies may be less inclined to adopt the newly released model. Coupled with features that are internationally expected and provided by all top of the line Android phones, the iPhone 4S will be quickly outdated.

The iPhone 4S is good, but is it good enough?

So, should we snap up the iPhone 4S or wait for the long anticipated iPhone 5? With whispers of the iPhone 5 offering a slick new design, larger screen size, 4G data speeds, everything the iPhone 4S offers and new innovative software including “Siri” and more, it may be worth putting in the hard wait. If you can’t wait, the iPhone 4S will not disappoint. Be careful however with grabbing the mid season upgrade. You may regret being locked into a contract making you ineligible for a new upgrade during the anticipated iPhone 5 release.
